Do It Herself! Are you sick and tired of meeting with home improvement contractors about your home projects and they never show up, don't provide estimates, start projects and then disappear halfway through the project? Meet other ladies in the PG area who want to discuss, share ideas or collaborate on home and garden projects. Let's help each other get some basic home improvement projects done and learn some new skills.
Disclaimer - The "Do It Herself" (DIH) Meetup Group consists of unlicensed and, at times, unskilled members. DIH members make no guarantees and/or warranties on any home improvement projects. We are volunteers and will not be held liable for damage due to the workmanship, damage to any home, or accidents by members or homeowners while working on projects. Accepting assistance from the DIH meetup is done at one's own risk.
RULES ABOUT "Yes" RSVPs - Only RSVP "Yes" if you intend to attend an activity/event. If you RSVP "Yes" and something comes up, please change your RSVP to "No" at least 1 hour prior to the activity/event. Because of the effort to put activities in place, those who RSVP "Yes" on 3 occasions but do not show will be removed from the group.

Building a floor frame - We will be helping Jane to build a floor frame in her basement. Currently the floor is a gravel floor. The frame will cover the whole floor and will be used as a base to build a simple wooden floor over. Please let us know if you have a saw that can be used for this project when you RSVP
